This means that the outer visual fields of both eyes are affected, resulting in tunnel vision.

Optic Tract Lesions
: The optic tract carries visual information from the optic chiasm to the visual cortex. Lesions of the optic tract can result in visual deficits, including homonymous hemianopia. This means that half of the visual field of one eye is lost, and the other half of the visual field of the other eye is lost.

Visual Cortex Lesions: The visual cortex is responsible for processing visual information and interpreting it as images. Lesions of the visual cortex can result in visual hallucinations, visual agnosia, and visual neglect. Visual hallucinations involve seeing things that are not actually present, while visual agnosia involves an inability to recognize objects. Visual neglect is the inability to perceive objects in the opposite visual field of the lesion.
